Y2K Compliance Program

Note: Coilcraft's products are not affected by year 2000 issues.

Since 1997, Coilcraft has been aggressively addressing all Y2K issues and achieved compliance as of August 31st, 1999. The following areas have been tested for compliance at all Coilcraft facilities.

Business Systems - Includes but not limited to all business application programs that support the day-to-day operations of Coilcraft for Material Planning, Production Scheduling, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, Purchasing, Personnel, etc.

Technical Infrastructure - Vendor-supplied or custom-developed software, hardware, complete systems, and equipment related to the technical infrastructure of Coilcraft. Examples include data center hardware and software, disaster recovery facilities, networks, servers, workstations, email, and all non-application software such as Microsoft Office.

Manufacturing Systems - Date-dependent operations or operations providing date-based feeds to other processes are being tested for compliance. An advantage we enjoy is that all production equipment is manufactured by Coilcraft and is controlled by Coilcraft-developed software.

Environmental Operations - HVAC, security, fire and alarm systems, EPA activity, copiers, faxes, etc. are all being tested for compliance.

Suppliers & Service Providers - External organizations which affect the operation of our organization are being questioned and responses are recorded for future purchasing decisions.

Coilcraft is committed to the development and ongoing management of our Year 2000 project to ensure that customers are not affected at the turn of the century.
