MICROCONTROLLER EMULATION FOR THE MMDS OR MMEVS

Device specific Emulation Modules (EMs) complete the functionality of either the sophisticated Motorola Modular Development System (MMDS) or the economical Motorola Modular Evaluation System (MMEVS). The EM board contains circuitry that emulates the specific features of the target 68HC(7)05 or 68HC(9)08 microcontroller.
The EM attaches to either development system (MMDS or MMEVS) through two expansion connectors located on the bottom side of the EM board. Connection to your target system is then made through a separately purchased target cable and target head adapter that attaches to a target connector located on the top side of the EM board.* In addition to the target connector, each EM includes a connector which provides the ability to interface the EM to a logic analyzer for external hardware trace of code execution.
