How To Use This CD

This CD is filled with as much Mixed Signal Processor and other product information as possible from the Texas Instruments website. It is self-contained, so you can get the information you need in stand-alone mode. What's more, the CD contains additional capability when used on a computer that has a live Internet connection. Here are a few tips for making the best use of this CD.

Browsing

To see what information is on the CD, click on items in the table of contents in the left frame (just as you did to launch this document). The folders in the table of contents expand and contract when you click on the plus/minus symbols. The pages that you display in the right frame contain links to other documents, most of which are on the CD also. Additionally, when you click a link to a document that is not on the CD, the link will attempt to retrieve that document from the TI website (if you have a live Internet connection at the time). This symbol typically appears next to live links, so you can identify them. If you "leave the CD" by a live link, you can easily return by using your browser's Back button or by clicking on an entry in the table of contents. The CD makes full use of your browser's capabilities, so links to PDF and other file types will be successful if you have the appropriate plug-ins.

Searching

To find a specific piece of information on the CD, click on the Search button above the table of contents. Both full-text and parametric searches are available to help you find what you need. The results of your searches will be displayed in tables and lists that link directly to documents on the CD.

Help

Additional suggestions, including tips on framing search queries, can be found in the help files for this CD. Click on the Help button above the table of contents.
