IMPORTANT! READ THIS WHOLE NOTICE CAREFULLY! IMPORTANT! Before you start Setup, please CLOSE ALL PROGRAMS currently running, including File Manager, WinPopup, Microsoft Office Programs or Microsoft Office Manager (the litte icons on the top of your screen with icons for Word, Excel...) etc. Make sure that Program Manager is the ONLY program running. If you start Setup with other applications running, it is possible that very important system files will not be copied. What is worse, you may run the risk of not being able to start other programs if Setup fails! So please make sure that all programs are closed. After closing all programs, click on the File menu of Program Manager (or the Start-button if you use Windows 95), choose Run... and type "d:\SETUP.EXE" where d: is the drive where your CD is located (local or network CD ROM). Follow the instructions of Setup. You are asked if you want to preserve existing files or overwrite them. (If you decide to keep the old files, especially OLE related files, it may occur that the Toshiba Catalogue on CD is not able to start. If this occurs, please start Setup again and try to install with overwrite.) Files overwritten are backed up in a separate directory so you can always copy them back to their old position. After completing Setup, you find a new group in Program Manager called "Toshiba" with the Toshiba Catalogue on CD icon. (If you use Windows 95, you find the icon in your start menu). Double click on that icon to start the CD catalogue. If you like to deinstall the Toshiba Catalogue on CD simply click on the Uninstall icon and follow the instructions.
