The solenoids I have a junk. I was thinking of using the frequencey vavle out of an early CIS system by bosch. Does anyone know what voltage drives these guys? I know there was a darlington used in the ECU to control the valve. paul timmerman pasadena ca ------------------------------ From: "Josh Karnes" Date: Tue, 11 Jun 1996 14:31:02 +0000 Subject: Bosch ECU Schematics I am looking for Bosch ECU Schematics for the following cars: BMW 530i, 1978 Datsun 280Z, 1975-1978 Datsun/Nissan 280ZX, 1979-1983 (incl. turbo). If anyone has any schematics for the ECUs for these cars, any or all of them, in any format, please let me know. Also, if anyone knows of any good source of information on these systems, I'd love to see it. Probably guess that valve is 12volt. I am setting up water inj too. Been told that a high pressure ( not the usual wwasher pump) pump and a NO2 fogger nozzle works very well. Years ago , I used a ww pump and a .020 to 0.035 simple nozzle but it probably did not work so well. Tended to drown spark. Also need to use a small high pressure storage vessel with check valve so water is injected immediately. Can use simple container for big storage. Be interested in hearing other ideas/experiences. frank parker ------------------------------ From: MSargent@xxx. How does this stop knocking ? Is it some type of carbon clean while you drive ? Does it increase power ? etc, etc. I have only heard about it, but know nothing about it.
