You could also have Jim Wolf Technology replace the Eprom with one that has no speed limiter, better ignition advance curve and slightly leaner (to 12.5:1 af ratio). They also sell cams for your engine. I think that they have done a turbo conversion as well. Talk to Clark at 619-442-0680. He is very knowledgeable about programming and what can be done to your ECM. Max. ------------------------------ From: Darrell Norquay Date: Sat, 26 Oct 1996 22:55:10 GMT Subject: Re: !!!BULLSH*T!!! It is physically impossible to damage a CPU chip using software. After all, that is what it was made to do, (execute software) so damaging it by same is pure crap. Ascii mail files cannot possibly cause damage, since they do not "execute", but only convey information. It is concievably possible to attach an executable file to a mail message, but it will remain dormant unless you actually run it. This "Good Times" thing, however, is the most insidious type of virus, it reproduces itself by taking advantage of the gullible types who perpetrate these warnings across the internet. No offense, John, but you got sucked in. regards dn dnorquay@xxx.com ------------------------------ From: Todd King Date: Sat, 26 Oct 96 17:53:00 PDT Subject: Re: Virus Text item: <<< If the program is not stopped, the computer's processor will be placed in an nth-complexity infinite binary loop - which can severely damage the processor if left running that way too long.
