John ------------------------------ From: brewer@xxx.com (John Brewer) Date: Fri, 1 Nov 1996 07:37:59 -0500 Subject: The TRUE Virus The most destructive virus, bar none, for a PC comes standard with the purchase of a Childrens CD ROM game or learning oriented product. After your kids see it, it will be nearly impossible to drag them away from the "Kumpooter" and the "mouths". Associated with this most deadly plague is food and drink spilled in the keyboard, all manner of objects inserted into the disk and CD rom drives, head wounds from a flying mouse, and inexplicable goo on the monitor. It spreads through their friends seeing it and demanding that their parents buy one just like it. But worst of all perhaps, is that you won't be able to use the thing any more because there is a two-and-a-half year old hacker clicking away in your place! I unfortunately had to leave my last ccompany quick due to being beaten = up by my boss. This involved not only telling him where to put his job, = and his managment skills, but also packing up and changing country. Please bear with me, as not only did I leave the job, but as I was = working for Multi Tech, the modem people, I had to give my modem back. I = have now borrowed an old modem, and will be sorting thro all the mail to = me about my mailing list. After the above incident, I didn't even get time to log on and send a = mail. I am truly sorry to you guys, and I will sort this mess out.
