Worked great, required occasional microswitch and servo adjustment, RTFM necessary, but pretty straightforward - At ~ 200,000 mi put in a new clutch, run it another 200K... Weak point was it's susceptibility to enthusiasts w/ hand tools. I dunno...the down-under and some early to mid-90s North American PROMs I've looked at recently had weird values in what we normally see in the cyl-sel byte. I guess they decided to do things a little differently in these PROMs, maybe? - -- Mike ------------------------------ From: Matthew Harding Date: Mon, 15 Feb 1999 15:14:56 +1100 Subject: Re: MAP CONVERSIONS At 05:14 14/02/99 +1100, you wrote: >Hi Matt, > I am selling a E6GM Haltech For about $1000 I can supply >sensors as well.It is from the gemini which is featured on you web >page.(and yes the car is still for sale too) Bye .PAUL Yep, it's for a Gemini, but none from my site... I'm building a 1600 turbo EFI engine from scratch... :) I'm still deciding what to use in the way of an EFI system, I am actually toying around with building a Stamp BS2SX based sysem... we'll see... ------------------------------ From: Stuart Bunning Date: Mon, 15 Feb 1999 14:47:34 +1000 (EST) Subject: Re: 808 QQQ's location C00A is cyl select not C009 04=8 cyl 08=6 cyl 00=4cyl ??? I've read the archives for a the past two years though. I'm an ME (design engineer) for Applied Materials, but VWs are my hobby. I'm currently designing a VR6 turbo kit for my '93 Corrado SLC, and I'm in the process of installing an Electromotive TEC II as well. So that's what I'm up to. Any other "projects" going on?
