In this case I'll just skip buying the car rather than go through the hoops of registering it elsewhere. (Which is technically almost illegal here anyway.) Maryland was better, they had a dyno test, but the only visual tests were things like gas cap, check for a cat, and absence of big holes in the exhaust. I'm still checking what exactly is allowed here... hope to have some solid answers this week. We didn't test without them, we just "assumed" it was smart. Well, they assumed it was smart and I nodded appropriately :) - -- Frederic Breitwieser Bridgeport, CT 06606 http://www.xephic.dynip.com 1993 Superchaged Lincoln Continental 1989 500cid Turbocharged HWMMV 1975 Dodge D200 Club Cab (soon to be twin turbo 440) 2000 Buick GTP (twin turbo V6) ------------------------------ From: Frederic Breitwieser Date: Wed, 17 Mar 1999 06:05:52 +0000 Subject: Re: Frederic Breitwieser/turbo discussion > On a V-6, whether it be 60, 90, flat, even or odd fire, don't you get nice > even every other pulse to a turbo when each bank has its own turbo? I can ask this weekend when I go up there. Its easy enough to figure out actually. Doesn't matter which cyl front to back fires, as long as they alternate banks, then regular equal length headers would be fine. - -- Frederic Breitwieser Bridgeport, CT 06606 http://www.xephic.dynip.com 1993 Superchaged Lincoln Continental 1989 500cid Turbocharged HWMMV 1975 Dodge D200 Club Cab (soon to be twin turbo 440) 2000 Buick GTP (twin turbo V6) ------------------------------ From: Frederic Breitwieser Date: Wed, 17 Mar 1999 06:42:51 +0000 Subject: Re: Frederic Breitwieser/turbo discussion > Every V-6 I know fires bank to bank. The guys who pushed me this way and helped put the motor together will be there, so its a matter of asking over an afternoon beer :) Of course I'll reply with the results. - -- Frederic Breitwieser Bridgeport, CT 06606 http://www.xephic.dynip.com 1993 Superchaged Lincoln Continental 1989 500cid Turbocharged HWMMV 1975 Dodge D200 Club Cab (soon to be twin turbo 440) 2000 Buick GTP (twin turbo V6) ------------------------------ End of DIY_EFI Digest V4 #176 ***************************** To subscribe to DIY_EFI-Digest, send the command: subscribe diy_efi-digest in the body of a message to "Majordomo@xxx.
