How ya been? Need to go to the sister list archives, and look for URL for the pictures that Fred B has of his Mopar intake conversion. There are also some posts detailing the steps he went through. http://efi332.eng.ohio-state.edu/gmecm/asearch.html So the twin turbos are mounted and functional now? From: Mike Subject: What prom to use?| To be really right, will take a chip. Yep, vats will need bypassed, or a freq generator installed. Might read the archives, about MAF/MAP 730/165 before getting too deep Grumpy Grumpy | > Im getting ready to drop a tpi engine in my car and i need a | > prom. I have a set of injector bungs that I bought from Force EFI, the step is chamfered 45deg for ease of o-ring install. However their machine work leads something to be desired, as the ID of a few are visually off-center. Unfortunatly I do not have a drill bit big enough, or a set of calipers handy at the moment to give the I.D. of the bung... If no one else can provide, let me know and I'll send ya one to duplicate... Does anyone have the mill and welder to install the bungs and drill the rails? I need an intake converted, have all parts but think $300 is ridiculous. Depth of .555" with the upper .2" a taper for the "O-Ring" to roll into. Where the injector pokes thru into the manifold looks to be .370", I can't get the calipers "bent" enough to read down there ..... If any one has better numbers, fine, just this is the best Doc and I could come up with.... Grumpy Hmm, found all kinds of stuff with the manifold...... | ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Nov 1999 13:13:12 -0500 From: "Andris Skulte" Subject: Re: Injector Boss Dimensions Actually, I'd like to do both sides, but I figured the dimensions would be the same, since the O-rings are. I'd like to get the dimensions to make my own injector bosses out of Al stock, and also machine the fuel rail. Thanks Bruce :) Andris From: "Bruce Plecan" Subject: Re: Injector Boss Dimensions You just want the manifold side?. Tell me exactly which dimensions ya need, ie there are two bore diameters for the manifold end seperated by a chamfer, the upper having a total depth of x, you don't need rail info.., just I have to drag out a GN manifold from under the bed to measure it, just ant it right....
