Dear Friends & club members.

I have been reading some post on other forums such as QRZ.com / QTH and Eham on the web recently and noticed things can often get way out of hand, such as personal attacks, complaints about buying and selling etc.  We have had very good success with Fox Tango in that we do allow SOME leeway in posting and will continue to do so as has been the case in the past.

#1 At this time however as a friendly reminder I'm posting here today to try to keep everyone on topic and that topic is Yaesu radio related topics as priority 1.

#2 Club discussion and topics that pertain to the modification and repair of your Yaesu product, education and elmering (Is there such a word?) of newcomers into the hobby. 

#3 Amateur radio sales ~ONLY of a VERY Brief nature are allowed on the Yahoo groups forums ~ in that we allow one posting to the Yahoo forum if you have a single rig to sell.  In other words we don't want Yahoo Groups forum to turn into a classifieds section.  If you have more then one thing to sell, then please post those larger listings to the Fox Tango classifieds on the club home page

#4 No personal attacks on anyone will be tolerated as have been noticed on other web site. WE DON'T WANT Any-one's DIRTY LAUNDRY from the other forums being dragged over here or aired out here! 
We like to run a tight ship, we have very good people here and have had little or NO problems so far.  We have a great group of moderators on all the Fox Tango forums and we have NO problem with SPAM or pornography as you have all noticed by now, and we want to keep it that way.

IF YOU: Have a problem with anyone selling you an item from the Fox Tango classifieds, there is a place to list those complaints on the public forum. That is the place to list such problems. NOT HERE or on any other Yahoo forum.
  
I highly suggest in order to have a safe trading / buying / selling experience that you know with whom you are dealing! Get a call sign, home address and telephone number where possible. Make payment via Pay Pal so you can have a record of any transaction.
If anyone does you wrong we will not HOLD PUBLIC TRIAL or tear into anyone on the Fox Tango Forums. I will not stand for this. 
We do however carefully monitor those complaints that are posted to the public forum complaint section with the hope that the seller will make the transaction RIGHT! Then we will remove that posting later.
