Wiring for D-104 4-wire cord.

4 pin

Pin 1 White or Clear. (Wire surrounded by shield)
Pin 2 Shield
Pin 3 Red
Pin 4 Do not use. 

Sometimes the black wire will need to be connected to pin 2 along with the shield.

Phone Plug

Tip. Red
Ring. White or Clear. (Wire surrounded by shield)
Sleeve. Shield. 

Sometimes the black wire will need to be connected to sleeve along with the shield.

Wiring for D-104 5 and 6 wire cord

4 pin

Pin 1 White or Clear. (Wire surrounded by shield)
Pin 2 Shield and Blue
Pin 3 Red
Pin 4 Do not use. 

Black and yellow wire is not used.
If your mike has a switch inside the base, place it in the E position.

As strange as it seems, the Black wire on these mikes is the hot mike audio.

Pin 1 Clear or white
Pin 2 Shield and Black
Pin 3 Red

Vox switch on Normal
Impedance switch should be set for highest output with your rig, usually High impedance.
