The
OrangeUSB 2.0 Hi-Speed Hub is 100% compliant with the USB 2.0
Hi-Speed specification. It has 4 ports which will connect either the
new USB 2.0 Hi-Speed high performance peripherals or the legacy USB
1.1 devices. This means it is fully backwards-compatible with all USB
products.
The OrangeUSB 2.0 Hi-Speed Hub will allow users to add multiple
higher performance peripherals such as high resolution video
conferencing cameras, and the next generation of USB 2.0 Hi-Speed
scanners, printers, and fast storage devices.
The OrangeUSB 2.0 Hi-Speed Hub recognizes dynamic attachment of a
peripheral and up to 2.5W of power for peripheral operation. This hub
may be attached to up to four additional hubs.
A USB 1.1 hub may be connected to the OrangeUSB 2.0 Hi-Speed Hub as
long as it is downstream from the host
computer.
The OrangeUSB 2.0 hub may be connected to a USB 1.1 port. But any
devices attached to it will operate at USB 1.1
speeds.
