Distribution:
  Since FV is so large, Shrinkit8 wouldn't archive everything - as a whole
  system. So here is a list of files w/ explanations:

  FV
  -----------------
  fv402.iebs.shk  - ALL standard IEBS, including Network software & Moses.
  fv402.menu.shk  - Menus
  fv402.sys.shk   - System, data & text files.

  These are all the files that you would need for a standard release.

  FV BETA
  ----------------- 
  fv4.1.b6.iebs   - ALL standard IEBS, including Network Software (.L's)
                    Moses file xfer system version TNG
  fv4.1.b6.system - ALL system-data files needed
  fv4.1.b6.menus  - Menus's & helpfiles
  fv4.1.b6.net    - Network data files needed if your site is on the 'net
  fv4.1.b6.docs   - Futurevision DOCS - does *NOT* contain the FAQ
  fv4.1.b6.updt   - IEBS that were changed since beta5 release. Includes .L's
  fv4.1.b6.iebs.x - Extra IEBS not necessarily needed.
  fv4.1.b6.iebs.u - Utiltity IEBS not necessarily needed for a working system.
 
  fv4.1.b6.all    - The first 5 shrinkit archives in the above list.
 
FV Updating from BETA5
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Backup your bbs. If not, atleast your 1/ directory.
Unpack the .updt shk archive to your /hd1/bbs/fv directory.
 
  IF ON THE NETWORK:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  Immediately go into Network Maintenance. Chose "N"etwork Utils.
  Re-compile your networking.
  Re-compile your email addressing.
  Restart Metal. You're done.
 
If problems occur, I recommend grabbing the .iebs shk archive, and replacing
any problem IEBS on your system from that archive.
 
 
 
FV installation: (for never-before installation)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unpack the .all archive that you downloaded.
 
Create a directory on your hardrive (called 'hd1') called 'bbs'.
Create a subdirectory called 'fv' (you now have /hd1/bbs/fv)
 
Unpack EACH fv4.1.b6.xxx shrinkit archive to that directory. (/hd1/bbs/fv)
 
You will then have a layout as follows:
 
/hd1/bbs/
 
 fv............................. the base of the BBS software directories
   docs......................... futurevision documentation files
   iebs......................... main code
   system....................... data files
     quotes..................... quote files
     jokes...................... joke files
     games...................... all games' data files go here
   menus........................ menus
   msgs......................... all your message base data files
   logs......................... logs
   tmp.......................... temporary directory for temporary files
   net.......................... network data files
     subscriptions.............. conference data files
     fvnetpublic................ publicly available fv network files
     privatespool............... spool directory for incoming files
     sites...................... each site's datafile directory
     updates.................... bbs updates are put here when received
   users........................ the users' directories
     user.0000001 etc etc....... each user can have their own directory
   xfers........................ the file xfer system's data files

  * NOTE: After unpacking all the shk archives, some of the directories *
  *       which FV needs will not exist. (msgs, logs, tmp, xfers, users *
  *       etc). When Metal is first launched, these directories will be *
  *       created for you. ie don't worry.                              *
