Whoever posted "Infocom.Trinity1.dsk" and "Infocom.Trinity2.dsk" -- Are you aware that these are identical to the ones currently located on Asimov, and that they, like the others, DO NOT WORK? I'm sure the actual pysical disk itself may work fine, but at the time Infocom released this game, side 2 of their double-sided Apple disks used a copy protection scheme for which you need to make a .NIB disk image (in order to get all the correct track data). We're talking 228K rather than 140K images, and it's no good simply converting the 140K .DSK image of side 2 into a 228K .NIB image, you need to do it straight from the actual disk itself. Several other Infocom games already posted on Asimov have the .NIB image of side 2 -- A Mind Forever Voyaging, Beyond Zork, Nord and Bert. I believe Super Saltine's Transcopy would be the tool to use: ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/utility/sst.zip Instructions on how to use SST are included in the ZIP. One would think that a cracked version of the disk, like the one just posted, would not have this problem, but apparently that's not the case. What we really need here is for someone with the original UNcracked disk to use SST and make a .NIB image of side 2...(and maybe even a new .DSK image of side 1). Then it should work fine on emulators like AppleWin and such. Killgard
