This is a simple ³QUICK & DIRTY² INFO/DOX text file - consisting of the text
contents captured from this special enhanced ³Apple IIGS StyleWriter² printer
driver that is archived in ShrinkIt (SHK) file format.

It is a modified hack, that functions rather nicely with the GS/OS v6.01 using
the original StyleWriter and is said to function with some degree with good
results using the StyleWriter II also, according to information furnished by the
hacker of driver. I haven¹t varified this, as I don¹t have a StyleWriter II to
try it with.

Place the driver file in your GS/OS system folder using the drag & drop method.

The text contents, extracted from the driver file are listed below to give you a
brief review of what you can expect with message, mode and function responses
when using the driver with GS/OS v6.01.

Please insert the next sheet when the printer stops running. 

Press and release the Ready button and push the paper into 
the front or back paper feed slot.
 
Paper will feed automatically (rear slot) or upon pressing 
the Form Feed button (front slot).
 
When paper is loaded, press the Ready button so that the Ready
light is on. 

Envelopes must always be fed from the rear slot.

 The Ready light is off.  Please press the Ready button on the 
printer. 

The printer is out of paper.  Please refill and then press the 
Ready button.

 A serious problem has occurred.  The print job will be terminated. 

Please make sure that the printer is a StyleWriter model, that it is connected
to the correct serial port, that it is powered on, and then try again.

This StyleWriter printer driver does not support some of the currently selected
features, such as Landscape Orientation, Color, or Size Reduction. Unexpected
results may occur.

Proceed at your own risk!

Text and bitmapped graphics may not be rendered properly due to low memory. 
Selecting 180 dpi instead of 360 dpi may produce better results.
