GIFStripper is a small utility that will process GIF files you've downloaded, removing any invalid headers from them.  For example, it will allow you to download pictures from the Mac Graphics Forum (MGR), Mac II/Color libraries, and then strip off the bad Mac file header that prevents SHRConvert or IIGIF from displaying the picture.
Version 1.1a fixes several bugs in v1.0a, improves error handling, provides resolution and color stats while stripping, and adds some other little extras.  ;)  Docs are included.
