If your Mac suddenly starts running Windows, CiderPress can convert just about any disk image format into just about any other. It can, in fact, do a bulk conversion of all your 800K disk images into DiskCopy format in one step. Macs don't transform easily, so: NuLib2 will run under Mac OS X on a command line. It can convert between .SHK and .2MG disk image formats. The .SHK files should be small enough to fit on an 800K disk, so you should be able to convert the 2MGs to SHKs, copy them onto 800K disks, move them to the IIgs, and unpack them over there with ShrinkIt or GS/ShrinkIt. (Best bet: if the IIgs has enough RAM, set up an 800K RAM disk and copy the .SHK file to it, then unpack to the floppy drive.)
