    I do not own a IIe and can't say whether it immediately wipes display
areas of Main mem upon a cold reboot. If it leaves them alone (like the
II+ does),  then capturing DHR game screens should be possible via your
RESET-Boot scheme. 

    You can get around the ProDOS overwrite-on-boot problem by patching
Block 0 on the diskette. (You can use the Aux Move routine at $C311 to
move $2000-$3FFF to Aux Mem $4000-$5FFF early in the booting process.) 

    The rest is easy. Just start your DHR.SNIP program and have it move
the block you stuck in Aux $4000-$5FFF back to Main mem $2000-$3FFF. Now,
you can flip the correct soft switches and display the pic.

   To save in standard 1-file format, move $2000-$3FFF to $4000-$5FFF and,
then, move Aux $2000-$3FFF to Main mem $2000-$3FFF.
