The MB89860/50 series has been developed as a general-purpose version of the F²MC-8L(F²MC stands for FUJITSU Flexible Microcontroller) family consisting of proprietary 8-bit, single-chip, microcontrollers.
In addition to the F²MC-8L CPU core which can operate at low voltage but at high speed, the microcontrollers contain a variety of peripheral functions such as a timer unit, PWM timers, a UART, a serial interface, a 10-bit A/D converter, and an external interrupt.
The MB89860/50 series is applicable to a wide range of applications from welfare products to industrial equipment, including portable devices.

Outputs non-overlap three-phase waveforms to control an AC inverter motor.

Not all these features are supported by the MB89863.
