Created in Fujitsu's 0.35µm CMOS process, the double CAN, MB91F368 Flash ROM version is a strip-down version of the existing devices to fulfill the needs of small-footprint applications which require no external bus-interface and no special peripheral functions such as stepper-motor drivers etc.
The MB91F368 is a 120-pin package version of the MB91360 family with 512kB Flash-ROM and 32kB RAM.
The device has a 32kHz-subclock for the RTC and a 4Mhz-main PLL for clock generation up to 64MHz internally.
2 CAN-Interfaces are implemented and a number of peripherals for automotive and industrial applications such as 4 channel PPG, ICU and OCUs, 8 external interrupts and 8 channel ADC.
Additional serial communications is one UART, 2 synchronous serial ports and an I²C. Power down management features include reset if the voltage drops below a defined threshold and over / under voltage detection interrupt.
All new members of the MB91360-family are equipped with a new clockmodulator unit which drastically reduces the EME (electromagnatic emission).
This feature can bring remarkably advantages to your entire system since redesigns due to EMI-problems can be avoided.
The modulation of the internal operation clock reduces the noise by spreading the energy of the MCU over a wide frequency range.
