description

These devices are positive-edge-triggered D-type flip-flops. The 'HCT377 are similar to the 'HCT273 but feature a latched clock-enable () input instead of a common clear.

Information at the data (D) inputs meeting the setup time requirements is transferred to the Q outputs on the positive-going edge of the clock (CLK) pulse if is low. Clock triggering occurs at a particular voltage level and is not directly related to the transition time of the positive-going pulse. When CLK is at either the high or low level, the D input has no effect at the output. These devices are designed to prevent false clocking by transitions at.

The SN54HCT377 is characterized for operation over the full military temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The SN74HCT377 is characterized for operation from -40°C to 85°C.
