Overview:	High speed hostconnection for external C4x processor system through standard SCSI-II hostadapter. Provides a set of C functions for program download and data exchange with an external C4x processor node through SCSI. Due to the disconnect/reconnect feature of the SCSI bus all devices can work fully event driven. Heavy bus loading caused by data polling is not necessary. Together with a busmastering hostadapter SCSI is the ideal I/O subsystem for modern operating systems like Windows NT. All data transfer is done by the SCSI subsystem itself and does preserve CPU resources of the host system. A DSP system connected to a host through SCSI bus is suitable for real time quality assurance. All videodata preprocessing is done by external DSPs. The processed data is transferred by SCSI as a background job of the operating system and visualized by a graphical userinterface. The hema hcs supports all standard SCSI-II hostadapter with ASPI driver available.
