Overview: The HETWIN-C44 is a TIM-40 module, and has two TMS320C44 processors, each having up to 2M byte SRAM on its local bus, and up to 2M byte on its global bus. The module is ideally suited for computing-power hungry applications that need a medium amount of memory to run. The module is a size 1 TIM-40 module. The JTAG port is used for debugging. In any system, with any number of processors, the JTAG allows debugging access to each individual processor in the system. There are several debugging tools available to take advantage of the JTAG's features. The HETWIN-C44 derives the processor clock from the motherboard. The TMS320C44 is a 275 MOPS and 50 MFLOPS rated DSP processor from Texas Instruments (50 Mhz version). It has the unique feature of 4 comports, each of which can transfer data at 20M byte/sec.
