Overview: Quad TMS320C40 DSPs for VMEbus. The most cost effective quad-C40 VME board available, Hydra-II packs four C40s onto a single 6U VME bus board with up to 32 Mbytes of zero-wait-state SRAM in a Harvard Architecture. The design is optimized for large-scale parallel systems using high-speed, interprocessor comm port links. Hydra-II also features two 100-Mbyte/sec parallel I/O buses. The comm ports, plus the two I/O buses, are ideal for data acquisition.
