| Overview: | XSYX has developed a low cost DSP board useable as a turnkey design and can be integrated seamlessly into multimedia and consumer products. As a reference application XSYS has integrated its loudspeaker pre-equalization filter technology on this low cost Audio-DSP design as well as several other digital audio effects and solutions. Besides all possible enhancements of sound quality, the integration of DSP techniques with the speaker system bears clear advantages for price development. · Medium performance systems will emerge into the high end range, · Compared to loudspeakers with equal quality a reduction of the enclosure's volume by factors from 5 to 10 are possible, · The overall multimedia sound experience will improve, and · Very low cost designs will be possible by the use of simple speakers which are up-converted to higher performance by DSP equalization. |
