| Overview: | D2's Caller Identification Delivery on Call Waiting (CIDCW) algorithm module implements all of the physical layer signal processing functions for North American Caller ID and Caller ID on Call Waiting applications according to the Bellcore type 1 [and] type 2 voice and data transmission interface requirements. It detects the CPE Alert signal (CAS) tone, detects and decodes the Bell 202 FSK modem data for on-hook and off-hook transmission, and generates DTMF as the acknowledgment or dialing signal. |
