| Overview: | D2's ADSI algorithm module implements all of the physical layer signal processing functions for North American ADSI applications according to the Bellcore type 1, type 2, and type 3 voice and data transmission interface requirements. It detects the CPE Alert signal (CAS) tone, sends and receives the Bell 202 FSK modem data for on-hook and off-hook transmission, generates DTMF as the acknowledgment (ACK) or dialing signal, and detects call progress tone signals. |
| Ideal Performance: | Integrated with other VP Open modules and tested for concurrent real-time processing on multiple voice ports. |
| Algorithm Verification: | Meets Bellcore requirements for FSK tolerance on-hook and off-hook transmissions; D2's CAS tone; and D2's Call Progress tone detection. DTMF tone quality for ACK and dialing FSK signal quality, VP Open interface validation. |
