| Overview: | Configurable Call Progress Monitoring (CPM) is a versatile Service for the detection and recognition of a wide range of call progress signals. The CPM Service has 18 different signal profiles that may be programmed. 15 are global profiles shared by each instantiation of the CPM Service. 3 are local profiles unique to each CPM Service. The CPM Service includes 12 standard North American call progress and SIT signals as default profiles. These default profiles may be easily reprogrammed to support other signals used in other regions, as well as proprietary signalling schemes ued in PBXs, key systems, and computer telephony products. CPM also supports Voice Detection, and may be used to recognize answering machines and fax machines. |
