| Overview: | CCOS is a timeslicing microkernel for the 'C3x family of Digital Signal Processors. This OS is highly optimized for setting up and managing multiple channels of uniformly sampled data for data acquisition and control systems. The CCOS Task Manager pipelines channel presampling, sampling, control output, and processing procedures. The communication interfaces and background processing are completely non-intrusive to the real-time sample routines. CCOS is specifically tailored to the unique architectures of DSPs and the applications which they are commonly applied. It is highly optimized to get the most out the 'C3x DSP, minimizing the interrupt latency, sample jitter, and operating system overhead. |
