Overview: The HETWIN-C44E is a TIM-40 Module that has two 'C44s with 4M bytes of no-wait EDRAM each. It is a size 1 TIM-40 module. The JTAG port is used for debugging processors in any size of system, when used on an appropriate Hunt Engineering motherboard, with software such as Code Composer. The ID ROMs give all information required to configure and use the HETWIN-C44E and is accessible by software. The HETWIN-C44E derives its processor clock from an on board Xtal oscillator enabling mixed speed networks to be used. It can however use the 'Broadcast' TIM clock as provided by the Motherboard if required. The 'C44 is a 275 MOPS and 50 MFLOPS rated DSP processor from Texas Instruments that has the unique feature of 4 Comports each of which can transfer data at 20 Mbytes/sec. One of the tools designed to integrate the elements of Hunt Engineering systems solutions.
