Overview:	The PCI6201 based on T.I's refolutionary new TMS320C6201 digital signal processor, the PCI6201 is capable of sustained computational throughput of 1600 MIPs! With single-chip processing power in excess of 15 times that of any other single DSP, the 'C6201 has redefined the DSP landscape and enabled access to an application performance plateau previously unreachable with anything but the largest of super expensive massivley parallel computing systems. The PCI6201 complements the 'C6201's blazing speed with the fastest of mezzanine expansion buses, the PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) bus. Operating at a maximum transfer rate of 132 MBytes/sec, the PCI6201's dual PMC bus sites leverage PCI's elegant design in a daughtercard format and provide access to a bevy of standard expansion cards supporting everything from Super VGA video and Ethernet and ATM networking to MVIP and T1/E1 telephone and Fibre Channel peripheral access.
