| Overview: | The SignalWorks Acoustic Echo Canceller (AEC) is a software module that provides acoustic echo cancellation, noise management, attenuation management, and automatic gain control. This provides a complete full-duplex solution for applications such as videoconferencing, DSVD, and networked conferencing. With a Line Echo Canceller (provided by SignalWorks or other means) this forms a complete solution for analog telephone networks. The AEC employs a patented frequency domain adaptive filter to achieve fast and reliable convergence with long tail-length and modest MIPS. A sophisticated control algorithm monitors a set of performance measures to make processing decisions that result in a completely natural full-duplex experience. |
