| Overview: | Code Composer is a fully integrated development environment (IDE) that is similar to MS-Visual C++ but with advanced features specifically built for DSP. Generations ahead of other DSP debuggers, Code Composer offers unique features and productivity gains found only in mainstream software development environments. It allows DSP code designers to edit, build, manage projects, debug and profile from a single unified application. In addition, the IDE lets users compile in the background as well as perform graphical signal analysis, inject/extract data to/from files, debug multiple processors, and customize the IDE via GEL, a C-interpretive scripting language, which also allows automated and regression testing. The many graphing options include eye diagrams, constellation diagrams, FFT waterfalls, images and more. The visual project management system allows users to easily visualize, access and manipulate all project files. An open architecture allows additional toolsets [and] utilities from GO DSP and third parties to be seamlessly integrated into Code Composer to provide a single unified control panel for DSP code development.
