Question: Looking for the output speed of the PWM.

Answer: In high-precision PWM mode, the pulse width can be specified with a minimum resolution of 40 ns. In normal compare mode, the minimum resolution is 160 ns. See the the manual, page 3-71 for a more complete discussion. (SPRU013C, 1991)
