Answer: When you connect the one C44 as a transmitter, you would boot it up as a transmitter and connect it to the other C44's as a transmitter using the Comm ports 0,1,2. The other C44's are booted up as receivers and are conversely connected. If this is not the way you have them connected, you will need to poll the port dir bit of the CPCR (see the TMS320C40 User's Guide, 1993, page 8-9 or TMS320C40 User's Guide, 1991, page 8-10)
