Question: Installing the c5x emulator on a Sun workstation. Getting error can't initialize target system.

Answer: Under some versions of Solaris, all privileges need to be given to the user to execute the xds510. If this is not happening, you will receive " cannot initialize target ". Refer to page 1-13 in C4x WS emulator guide.
