Question: I'm interested in knowing if the C80 or C82 directly interfaces with " EDO " ( extended data output ) type DRAMs ?

Answer: The C82 is designed to interface with EDO DRAM types, and will take full advantage of the EDO feature (i.e. data not sampled until /CAS falls). The C80 right now will interface with EDO.
