Protected / Unprotected pipeline

The C4x has a protected pipeline except for the LDP instruction. The LDP instruction loads the DP register during the decode phase in an unprotected mode. Refer to the LDP description in Chapter 11 of the C4x UG 1993 edition under for precautions to be taken in this case.
