POWER CONSUMPTION

The power dissipation of a device can be calculated by multiplying the IDD (supply current) by the Vdd (supply voltage).

Refer to the DS (electrical specifications) to find the value of this parameters.

ex: C40:
Max power = 850ma * 5v = 4.25 watts : Typ power = 350ma * 5v = 1.75 watts -
