Question: Error  message :  " Invalid Object file " 

Answer: The linker is producing an executable with the TI new COFF format ( default in current revisions is COFF2 ). Some TI emulators and simulators do not understand this new format and can only treat these files as invalid objects. A workaround is to link with the " -v0 " option to use the old COFF format. Another solution is to use the latest emulator or simulator releases which support the new COFF format.
