Question: The latest C27XX debugger require Internet Explorer to be installed on the users PC. When IE was removed from some PC's, the new C27XX debugger did not work.

Answer: The Debugger uses DLL's that IE also uses. If you delete IE it will ask you if you also want to delete the DLLs that are possibly used by other programs (not just our debugger). If you click on YES then these DLLs are deleted and the debugger will not run. If you click on NO then IE is deleted but the DLLs remain.

When you install the debugger it will run a Microsoft application that looks to see if you have the proper DLLs installed for the debugger and if not it will install them for you.
