Question: Is the XDS510WS compatible with SUN ULTRA30 workstations ?

Answer: The new SUN ULTRA30 workstation contains a 68 pin SCSI-3 port instead of the 50 pin SCSI port found on other workstations.

A 50 pin SCSI cable is provided with the Texas Instruments XDS510WS emulator and is not compatible with the 68 pin SCSI-3.

The XDS510WS is therefore not directly compatible with Sun ULTRA30. The workaround is to purchase a 50 to 68 pin SCSI adapter.
