Question :  I'm having difficulty booting from 32 bit ROM in CE1 space. Although the EVM manual doesn't document supported modes for CE1 boot - it is discussed in other parts of the manual. The peripheral reference manual indicates the BOOTMODE[4..0] should be set to 11100 to do this - I have set the switches accordingly on the board - and the processor appears to be Bootloading as if in 8 bit ROM mode. I have found bits and pieces of information in the 6x product documentation which have put me in doubt about even booting from CE1 in Map 0 - (although this is documented in the peripheral guide.) Could you please give me the settings I need to boot from CE1 with 32 bit ROM? (I have the rev 2.0 silicon board.)

Answer :
Rev 2.0 silicon only supports 8-bit ROM boot mode.
Rev 2.1 silicon fixes this problem.
We boot from 32-bit ROM (Flash) memory fine with 2.1 silicon  using boot modes 11100 and 11011.
