New A/D converter has increased noise immunity

Texas Instruments has introduced a new sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter with increased noise immunity.

With a signal-to-noise ratio of 97 db, the TLC320AD58C is well-suited for professional audio, sensitive instrumentation and industrial process control applications.

The new device interfaces gluelessly with DSPs. Software control registers allow the choice of 16-bit or 18-bit resolution.

The 'AD58 is pin-compatible with the previous generation TLC320AD57. It is available now from TI and its authorized distributors.
