TI will introduce two new advanced virtual phase charge-coupled-device (CCD) sensors at the 40th annual International Symposium on Optical Science, Engineering and Instrumentation. The TC237 is a monochrome 680-by-500 pixel monochrome CCD and the TC237 is a color 680-by-500 pixel CCD featuring a mosaic color filter. Both feature high-speed image transfer and improved anti-blooming capability implemented by an advanced lateral-overflow-drain concept. In addition, Texas Instruments Image Sensor Technology Center will display a full line of area array image sensors and camera products. Demonstrations will include the low cost LC-324 board level camera, a digital monochrome camera featuring the TC237, and a color camera module featuring the TC236.
