TMS320C80 workshop to offer detailed training
Designers can receive hands-on, in-depth training for the TMS320C80
through TI's Technical Training Organization.
TI will begin offering a four-day, comprehensive workshop for
the 'C80 (MVP) in second quarter 1995. The course will help designers
become familiar with the advanced 'C80 development environment.
Topics will include:
- 'C80-based system architecture
- 'C80 Parallel Debug Module Simulator
- Overview of code generation tools
- How to set up packet transfers
- Operation of Multitasking Executive
- Master processor architecture and floating-point unit pipeline
- Parallel processor architecture and data unit coding
- Address units coding and flow control
- Video controller capabilities
- Hardware aspects of 'C80 design
Labs will include:
- Hands-on practice of tools
- Coding exercises
- Executive C programs
