TI provides BSDL files on line for DSP designers

Designers using DSPs now can easily obtain BSDL files for accurate implementation of IEEE 1149.1 boundary scan.

BSDL is the Boundary Scan Description Language that describes each device's specific boundary scan implementation, simplifying the designer's work.

Boundary scan is gaining wide acceptance within many end-equipment markets. Many of the tools used by design and test engineers, including automated test equipment and design and debug tools, now accept BSDL.

TI provides BSDL through on-line capability, eliminating the need for customers to re-enter or re-create the BSDL information. Customers can electronically download BSDL files by accessing the Internet or the DSP or Test Technology Center bulletin board services (BBS). BSDL files are available for the following DSP devices:
