Jaguar Cars and TI have teamed to develop the highly advanced Night Vision System (NVS), based on a near-infrared digital video camera that enables the driver to see clearly at night or in any poor lighting condition. Night Vision depends on TI's TC237 CCD Area Image Sensor and the TI TMS320C25 Digital Signal Processor. Still in the prototype stage, NVS is being considered as a safety feature for cars in the next century.
