
TI Vice Chairman Pat Weber has been named chairman of the board of directors for the Semiconductor Industry Association for 1995-96.
VLSI Technology's Al Stein has been named vice president.
Others named to the board include: Jerry Sanders, chairman of Advanced Micro Devices; Curtis Crawford, president of AT&T Microelectronics; Ed Caldwell, vice president of Digital Equipment Corp.; John Garrett, president of Harris Corp.'s Semiconductor Sector; George Bodway, Hewlett-Packard's manager of corporate planning; Michael Attardo, senior vice president of IBM; Craig Barrett, Intel Corp.'s chief operating officer; Wilf Corrigan, chairman of LSI Logic; Steven Appleton, chairman of Micron Technology; Thomas George, president of Motorola's semiconductor business; Gil Amelio, chairman of National Semiconductor Corp.; and Dwight Decker, president of Rockwell's telecommunications business.
Pat is a member of the Office of the Chief Executive with responsibility for the full range of the TI's global business activities.
Since joining TI in 1962, he has held numerous positions throughout the company, including international, corporate and group assignments. Pat has been a member of TI's Board of Directors since 1984.
